I'm Nick — I like to build things, solve problems, and get my hands dirty. This is where I share what I've learned, what I'm working on, and what I care about.

Interests & Projects

Skiing

Skiing

I've been skiing since I was 3. Grew up racing on the east coast, moved to Colorado for the mountains, and it's still my happy place.

Guitar

Guitar

I got sick of showing off at Guitar Hero and decided to learn the real thing. 20+ years of self-taught playing.

Fishing

Fishing

I've been fishing my whole life and picked up fly fishing during the pandemic. It's a great excuse to get outside and spend time on the water.

Rowing

Rowing

I started rowing on the Hydrow at the start of the Covid pandemic. I fell in love with the routine and workout. I've been out on the water a few times, and want to keep getting better. See my lifetime totals, weekly progress, and the receipts to back it up.

Brown Banana

Brown Banana

I wrote a children's book. It started as something silly for my kids and turned into something I'm genuinely proud of. Available on Amazon.

Arcade Build

Arcade Build

I built a full arcade cabinet from scratch just because I had a Rasberry Pi and an old TV.

Le Mans Restoration

Car Restoration

I have a 1972 Pontiac LeMans Sport Convertible that I bought after my first summer working at 14 years old. I've very slowly been restoring it since then... When I have the time.

Sewing

Sewing

I've been sewing since I was young and my Mom had me fix the holes I put in my jeans. I used those skills to make one-piece snow suits for touring. Our goal was to make something that was USA made. Scaling up outterwear manufacturing based in the US is expensive. This was a fun project, but ultimately not sustainable.

NFL Analytics

NFL Analytics

I built a full stats platform with play-by-play data, snap counts, opportunity tracking, and fantasy insights.

Values

My Values

I put together some videos of life lessons I thought were important to share with my kids. You never know what's going to happen — recording what matters is a way to preserve it just in case.
